Home Run Derby
Time your swing and drive the ball over the fence. How many home runs before 3 outs?
Tap or press Space as the ball reaches the plate · Early goes left, late right · Anything but a homer is an out
About this game
Swing at each pitch and drive it over the fence in this home run derby. See how many home runs, and how long, you can hit before 3 outs.
How to play
- Tap the screen or press Space the moment the ball reaches home plate to swing.
- Better timing means a longer hit. Early swings pull left and late ones go right; too far to the side is foul.
- Anything but a home run is an out: misses, fouls, fly balls, and taking a pitch in the strike zone.
- Letting a pitch outside the strike zone (the dashed box) go by is fine.
Tips
- Watch how fast the ball grows to find the rhythm. Fast and slow pitches are mixed in: swing early on fast ones and wait on slow ones.
- Hitting to center clears the fence most easily; pulling or pushing too far goes foul.
- Leave pitches outside the zone alone.
