About this game
Klondike, the world’s best-known patience game. Your goal is to move all 52 cards onto the four foundation spots at the top right, one pile per suit, in order from Ace up to King. When all four piles reach the King, you win. Every deal is guaranteed to be solvable.
How to play
- Goal: get all 52 cards onto the four top-right foundations. You win when all four piles reach the King.
- Layout: the deck and drawn cards are at the top left, the four foundations (your goal) at the top right, and seven columns below for sorting cards.
- Each foundation takes one suit, built up one card at a time from the Ace (♥A → ♥2 → … → ♥K).
- In the seven columns, stack cards in descending order with alternating colors (red/black). Clearing a column’s top card flips the face-down card beneath it.
- Only a King (or a run starting with one) can go into an empty column.
- Tap a card and it moves to a valid spot automatically. If it could go to more than one place, tap the card again right away to try the next spot.
- Tap the deck to draw; choose Draw 1 or Draw 3. When the deck runs out, it starts over.
- Each card on a foundation is worth 10 points; winning faster and in fewer moves adds a bonus.
Tips
- Uncover columns with the most face-down cards first.
- Save empty columns until you have a King to move there.
- Aces and 2s can go up right away; higher cards may still be useful below.
