Swarm Shooter
Hold off the alien swarm as it flies into formation. Watch out for the ones that break off and dive!
←/→ move · Space fire · Diving enemies score ×2 · Blue bolt = double shots · P to pause
About this game
A fixed-screen shooter where alien ships swoop in to form a swarm above you. Shoot them all down while dodging the ones that break formation and dive, then move on to the next stage.
How to play
- Move left and right with ←/→ and fire upward with Space.
- Enemies fly in along curved paths and take their places in formation. Once assembled, a few at a time break off and dive at you, firing as they go.
- Enemies in formation are worth 50, 80 or 150 points, and double while diving. The leaders on the top row take two hits.
- Catch a blue bolt dropped by an enemy for 10 seconds of double shots.
- You have 3 lives and earn one more every 10,000 points. Clearing a stage gives a bonus.
Tips
- Only 2 of your shots can be on screen at once. Aim at closer enemies to reload faster.
- Divers curve toward your ship. Wait, then sidestep at the last moment.
- Thin the swarm while it is still flying in, and the dives get much easier.
